Gardener

I am a lifelong learner and have always sought opportunities that enable me to make a meaningful difference, be creative, and connect with nature.

After working in project, operation, and event management for charities and social enterprises for five years, the desire to get away from screens and work with my hands was strong. I moved to Maine to do a boatbuilding apprenticeship. Since then, I have worked as an organic market gardener, a coppice worker, a furniture maker, and studied Landscape Architecture.

Gardening is an empowering and rewarding tool for observing and experimenting. It is wonderful to be a part of this process as the Story Garden Gardener and to watch people grow in confidence and curiosity as they learn from nature.

When I'm not at the Story Garden you'll find me making baskets, tending my allotment, or wandering around the marshes.
