Training in leadership, sustainability,
youth and community engagement

We offer unique and rewarding training to businesses in leadership development, sustainability, youth and community engagement.

Where possible, local young people co-design and co-facilitate these workshops with us.

Visiting Global Generation is always inspiring. Each session was carefully planned with a clear structure and simple expectations made explicit. The learning unfolds, knitting together individual contributions, narratives and reflections. One’s soul feels stronger, the awareness of others greater and the universe more expansive. It was a wholly sharing, caring, uplifting and enriching experience’

Case Studies

Heatherwick Studio

We are working together with Heatherwick Studio to support the development of their in-house Creative Education module, run by their Heatherwick Inspirers.

This has included training in Global Generation's approach to working with young people for their team of designers, co-design sessions with our young Generators to help develop the content of the module, and coordinating with local schools to help bring local young people to their sessions.

This is the beginning of a multi-year partnership and we look forward to seeing how it develops.

Eurostar: Leadership Development Days

Participants explored visions of leadership in the context of developing a deeper connection with the whole business, with the local community and with the natural world.

Through a process of hands-on doing and reflection using nature as inspiration, participants stepped out of their often fragmented ways of working to connect with each other and their wider environment.

Islington Youth Organisations

We were commissioned by Islington Council to run a training programme for people working in youth organisations in Islington. The series of five sessions offered a mix of hands-on learning and reflective-based practice.

They aimed to strengthen reflective practice as part of youth work delivery; foster creative approaches to developing and sustaining programmes within a broader climate of uncertainty; build new collaborations amongst Islington youth providers; inspire a culture of learning amongst youth workers and offer youth workers new lenses through which to encourage young people to find their place within a wider and more connected story that includes nature and the wider cosmos.

All of the sessions were broadly structured within Global Generation’s ‘I, We and the Planet’ framework.

I had an amazing time, met some great people and felt it was a moment in time to rethink my relation to my practice. I found the sessions inspirational.
